Module 2 - The Results

Results in - no grumbles about the score or the comments. Not done as well as Module 1 but I know where I have gone wrong with regards to emphasis and structure. Must also work on my Harvard referencing.

Am more attuned to Module 3 - looks complicated but let's attempt the challenge!

Module 2

Thank goodness I have finished module 2. From a technical point of view I have experienced (and learned) a lot but the quality of the end result is mediocre.

However, I have taken the view the intended outcomes of this module are not really related to any actual technical development rather it is process mapping and reflecting on what it has taken to get to where I am.

The psychology of online learning in truly fascinating. Learning communities are nothing new but online learning communities are, in the overall scale of learning, a new phenomenon.

Many of the previously respected communication rules are challenged and a number are replaced with other conventions - for example, the logistical parameters of a chat room mean the way communication takes place is different from a face to face conversation (e.g. no chance to study body language, facial expression etc.).

I have researched various work on online communities, social groupings and learning processes.

Let's see where all this leads!
